BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Your questions, answered.
What do I personalise now and what do I upload later?
Now you choose the photo and text printed on the plaque. The video, audio or image the QR code opens is added later with your editing access. You can change that content without changing the plaque.
Can you send it straight to the person I'm giving it to?
Yes. Choose “Send it directly as a gift” and enter your own email or WhatsApp. When we prepare the plaque, we'll send you the access to add the memory, even though you won't have the plaque in your hands. At checkout, enter the recipient's address as the delivery address.
What if I want to receive it myself and hand it over in person?
Choose “I'll receive it”, even if it's a gift. The access to add the memory comes in the parcel, on a card and on the back of the plaque, so you can set it up before handing it over.
What are the two QR codes for?
The QR code on the front lets anyone who scans it see the memory. The edit QR code lets you upload or replace it: you'll find it on a card inside the parcel and on the back of the plaque. Keep it safe and only share it with people you want to be able to edit.
How long will it work?
Your purchase includes a minimum of 5 years of service from the order date. We intend to keep it running for longer, but that is the guaranteed period. If the service were ever to end, we would let you know in good time so you could download your files.
When will it arrive and how much is delivery?
Delivery is calculated at checkout based on the destination; you can also collect your order in Carballo. If you need it by a specific date, ask us before ordering and we'll confirm the lead time for this plaque.
What can I upload? Do I need an app?
You can upload a video, an audio clip or a photo. You can also record from your phone, up to 5 minutes. To open the memory, just scan the QR code with your camera: no app needed.
What if I lose the access to change the memory?
Get in touch and we'll help you recover the edit QR code for your plaque.
